April 13, 2020 at 8:56 pm #4321I have no idea what Kaspersky ref to , or why . If you download netcut.exe from https://www.arcai.com , it is safe. if you like to use netCut, please feel free and ensured safe to whitelist it. curious , does KV give green light on previous version? 3.0.94 changes a bug that login failed and reconnect itself. that’s all

April 13, 2020 at 9:23 pm #4324I use KV’s online scan https://virusdesk.kaspersky.com/ verified the netcut.exe is safe. You can do the same by input the download link The link https://www.arcai.com/download/netcut.exe Anyway, I am pretty confidence KV is giving a false positive alert.

April 14, 2020 at 12:19 am #4326Hello again, and thank you for your response, Yes i used netcut for a longtime, along with Kaspersky and never had a problem before. I used the md5 hash you provided on 2 online scanners : So for the first one : kaspersky threat intelligence portal, it detected it as a malware https://opentip.kaspersky.com/01915ccca85ff78a9cd22f0b91cf92e8%20/ I also ran another test on virustotal : 3/65 engines detected the file as a malware ( kaspersky’s one of them ) According to virustotal results … this is most likely a false positive .. I suggest you contact kaspersky so that they recheck the file, cuz a lot of users, im sure, have kaspersky installed on their systems too …
