August 22, 2020 at 11:32 am #5879Hello! I have been using NetCut for quite some time now and it is a good tool for me for limiting internet speed for the users connected in our WiFi. But this new update (I have been using it also for a time), I noticed that the speed limited doesn’t work. I capped all the other devices connected to 600 kbps but the meter shows the speed are above the speed I set it to. I checked and all the devices is the one the I capped but whenever they watched videos like netflix or other streaming apps it goes beyong the capped speed. The other tools like blocking netflix and such works well but I just want to limit their speed and I cannot do it. I am using Avast Antivirus but I made the Arcai folder as an exception. The previous version worked for me well and I hope this get fixed. Thank you.

August 22, 2020 at 12:06 pm #5880it has been reported before, the meter shows is spike avg 30 seconds. check at the device side, you will see it is cap under correct level. we will update the meter info at later update.

August 23, 2020 at 8:20 am #5883I have thoroughly observed that it’s not a spike. I always check my meter but their bandwith is more than what I have assigned for them. This affects my gaming so much

August 23, 2020 at 11:08 am #5884can you give an example of the actual number you seen? like when set it to 600KB speed in netCut ( this is combine upload and download together) What is the device shows when do speed test? constantly ? -
August 25, 2020 at 2:39 am #5886How do I show it to you? Where can I send it?

August 25, 2020 at 3:01 am #5887I set it 400kbps and it goes beyond it reaching 700kbps.

August 25, 2020 at 11:25 am #5888may I ask Where the 700Kbps show? is it at the meter shows at netCut or from the speed testing from the device it’s own? The meter from netCut is Max spike over 30 seconds. not real time, due to the performance , we have to only show sample max speed in netCut meter. hope this make sense.T -
August 26, 2020 at 5:01 am #5892It is from the speed meter.
