May 3, 2020 at 9:32 pm in reply to: Same as before : Kaspersky is detecting Netcut 3.0.99 as a Trojan #4783
I was about to post another topic about it .. what’s wrong with the new versions of netcut ? even the new one ( 3.1.100 ) :
the detection started with the a rootkit scan, i wasn’t even able to whitelist the file …
Edit : I wonder why a rootkit scan started all this ?

Hello again, and thank you for your response,
Yes i used netcut for a longtime, along with Kaspersky and never had a problem before.
I used the md5 hash you provided on 2 online scanners :
So for the first one : kaspersky threat intelligence portal, it detected it as a malware
https://opentip.kaspersky.com/01915ccca85ff78a9cd22f0b91cf92e8%20/
I also ran another test on virustotal : 3/65 engines detected the file as a malware ( kaspersky’s one of them )
According to virustotal results … this is most likely a false positive ..
I suggest you contact kaspersky so that they recheck the file, cuz a lot of users, im sure, have kaspersky installed on their systems too …
